1) Terms of Use

1.2 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or have a parent/guardian’s consent) to create an account, place orders, or use our consultation services.
1.3 No Emergency Service / Medical Disclaimer
Information on this website, including pharmacist consultations, is for general guidance and does not replace clinical diagnosis or emergency care. In an emergency, call 112 (Nigeria) or go to the nearest hospital.
1.4 Accounts & Security
- You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and all activities under your account.
- Provide accurate, current information. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations or fraud.
1.5 Orders, Pricing & Payment
- Prices are shown in Nigerian Naira and may change without prior notice.
- We may reject or cancel an order for stock, regulatory, or risk reasons (you’ll be refunded if charged).
- Payments are processed by secure third-party providers. We do not store your full card details on our servers.
- For prescription medicines, a valid prescription may be required before dispensing.
1.6 Delivery
- Delivery timelines are estimates. Delays can occur due to logistics, stock, verification, or force majeure.
- Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us promptly about any issues.
1.7 Returns & Refunds
- For safety and legal reasons, opened or temperature-sensitive medications cannot be returned unless defective or supplied in error.
- Eligible returns must be requested within 7 days of delivery in original condition/packaging.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection/approval. Delivery fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
1.8 Consultations & Telepharmacy
- Consultations are provided by licensed pharmacists for counselling, medication review, and general advice.
- We may request additional information or documents (e.g., prescription) for safety and regulatory compliance.
- We may record key clinical notes required by law and best practice (see Privacy Policy).
1.9 User Content & Reviews
- By posting reviews or messages, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content on our platforms.
- Do not post content that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, or infringes any intellectual property rights. We may moderate or remove content at our discretion.
1.10 Acceptable Use
- No attempts to bypass security, scrape our site, or disrupt services.
- No false orders, prescription fraud, or misuse of prescription-only medicines.
1.11 Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, and site design are owned by or licensed to MedKings Pharmacy Store and Consult. You may not copy or exploit them without written permission.

1.15 Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., strikes, pandemics, network outages, extreme weather).
1.16 Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The “Effective date” above will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
1.17 Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall be resolved by the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria. Where mutually agreed, we may explore mediation or arbitration before litigation.

We respect your privacy and process personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023 and applicable regulations.

- Account & Usage: login details, messages, preferences, pages viewed, device/browser info.
- Order & Payment: items purchased, totals, delivery instructions. Card processing is handled by secure payment partners; we do not store full card numbers.
- Consultation & Health Info: information you share with pharmacists (e.g., medicines, allergies, conditions) to provide safe pharmaceutical care.
- Communications: emails, chat, WhatsApp messages, or phone recordings where permitted.
- Cookies/Analytics: cookie identifiers, approximate location, and analytics events (see Cookies section).
2.3 How We Use Your Data (Purposes)
- To create and manage your account and orders.
- To provide consultations, verify prescriptions, and ensure safe use of medicines.

2.7 Data Retention
We keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes stated, and to comply with applicable pharmacy, tax, and regulatory record-keeping requirements. When no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

We use technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, training) to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure.

Under the NDPA you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, or delete your data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.

2.10 Children’s Privacy

2.12 WhatsApp & Calls
If you message us on WhatsApp (+2347032583169), your messages are subject to WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy practices in addition to ours. Avoid sharing sensitive medical information on open channels unless requested by our pharmacists in a secure way.
